"Satanic Scum Punks" (Apocalyptic
Witchcraft; 2026)

Wolfbastard's "Satanic Scum Punks" is eleven tracks of punishing, guitar-driven metal in the vein of bands like Midnight and Toxic Holocaust. It starts off with the breakneck guitar chords of "It's Fucking Dark" and ends with the same on the brutal final track, "B.I.F.F.O." It's pure, unadulterated, unapologetic, kick-you-in-the-face rock'n'roll that just keeps coming with its pugnacious vocals, Ramones-like speed and Motorhead power.
The song titles pull no punches, either, with tracks like the aforementioned "It's Fucking Dark" to "Fuck Off And Die" to "Fuck the Bastards" to ... well, you get the idea. (Other titles worth mentioning include the title track, "Hail Satan Kurwa" and "Drink for Hell).
This is one of those albums you probably shouldn't listen to when you're driving. It'll make you drive too fast and will bring your aggression to the boiling point. While I can see the attraction to that, the highway patrol may have other feelings.
Wolfbastard's "Satanic Scum Punks" is one of my favorite albums of 2026. Time to dive into their back catalog and keep an eye out for live shows.
