LIFE CYCLES

"No One Escapes Death" (1126 Records; 2026)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Life Cycles is purportedly "crossover thrash," whatever the hell that means, and their EP, "No One Escapes Death" is six tracks of grinding guitar riffs, growling vocals, and thunderous bass and drums. It's heavy as hell and, if that's what you're looking for, look no further.

My favorite tracks were "Fatal Path" with its slashing guitar; the ball-busting speed of "Mirror Doubt," and the straight-forward closer, "The End Still Awaits," which slowly crescendos into a throbbing, spiraling headbanger.

This Texas band and their "No One Escapes Death" will get your blood pumping and leave you wanting more.

Life Cycles: Luis Lopez – vocals; Christopher Buckner – guitar; Sebastian Elizondo– guitar; Christopher Sanchez – bass; Xavier Rios – drums.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
