...STEVE VAI's Favored Nations Entertainment label will release drummer CHAD WACKERMAN's third solo album, "Scream" on June 20th. Wackerman's CD is said to balance the power and conviction of rock with the subtle nuances of jazz. Also featured on the CD are James Muller on guitar, Daryl Pratt on vibes, percussion, and synthesizers, Leon Gaer on bass, Jim Cox on organ, piano, synthesizers and Walt Fowler, flugelhorn on the track "Holland." Wackerman, of course, toured with FRANK ZAPPA for seven years as well as appeared on projects by such varied artists as BARBARA STREISAND, ALLAN HOLDSWORTH, ANDY SUMMER, MEN AT WORK, DWEEZIL ZAPPA and (surprise!) STEVE VAI...
