...If you live in California's Inland Empire, consider yourselves lucky. A new cable access program entitled "Rockin' In the Box" has just gone on the air, and features live reviews, interviews and news about the rock bands you wanna know about. Hosted by Jeff and Lesly, the program is currently only available in the Inland Empire. But, judging from the great publicity the first outing received, it won't be logn before the program is everywhere. We'll keep you informed...
...The legendary IGGY POP will assist in the mixing of the Roadrunner Records debut of Hollywood rockers AMEN. According to AMEN guitarist/vocalist Casey Chaos, "Iggy has the vibe that we were looking for and that's why we chose him over some button tweaker." The band, whose music has been described by Alternative Press as "Misery, darkness and claustrophobia, spread out over a sinewy, punkish wall of sound" will be released later this year...
...KEN TAMPLIN has signed to Z Records and will re-from his band SHOUT to record a collection of new material described as classic hard rock. A number of special guests are expected to appear on the release. More as it becomes available...
...In case you haven't noticed, "Spawn" creator Todd McFarlane is once again behind the animation in the latest video by KORN, this one entitled "Freak on a Leash." This marks the third time that McFarlane has worked with the band...
...MARSHALL LAW will release their fifth full-length studio CD sometime in May or June of this year. The album is confirmed for release in the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and the United States. The new album will mark the introduction of new drummer Chris Green and will feature guest performances by Steve Grimmett of GRIM REAPER/LIONHEART and Tony Clarkin. In addition, MARSHALL LAW will appear before an expected 40,000 fans opposite METAL CHURCH, UDO, HAMMERFALL and others during the 10th Annual Wacken Festival in Germany this August...
...MINDSET have released their latest CD, "A Bullet for Cinderella." The CD made opened well on the radio charts (Album Network #20, FMBQ # 23, CMJ #25 & Hits #24) and the band is currently working on putting together a U.S. tour. Click here to read Snidermann's review...

...Noise Records has signed ART OF WAR, a San Antonio based four piece and have scheduled them to begin recording with Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Stuck Mojo and Pissing Razors). ...New Line Cinema has moved the release of "Detroit Rock City," the film revolving around a '70s-era KISS concert and a group of young fans trying to get to the show, to August 1999. Purportedly, the film company is so pleased with the film that they're moving it to a better release date but, of course, what would you expect them to say?...
...WASP's new CD, with the bitchin' title of "Helldorado," will see the light of record stores beginning March 23, 1999...
...NAZARETH will begin a six-week tour in support fo their brand new "Boogaloo" CD. The band's current line-up includes original members Dan McCafferty on vocals, Sweet on drums, Pete Agnew on bass, and new members Jimmy Murrison on guitar and Ronnie Leahy on keyboards...
...THE OFFSPRING kick off their U.S. tour on February 24th in Cleveland, Ohio in support of their latest CD, "Americana." ...After months of rumors, IRON MAIDEN has announced that lead vocalist BRUCE DICKINSON and guitarist ADRIAN SMITH are re-joining the band. The new (old) line-up will also include Steve Harris on bass; DAVE MURRAY on guitar; JANICK GERS on guitar (that's right - three guitars) and NICKO McBRAIN on drums. Dates for a U.S./European tour are in the midst of being organized but will probably happen sometime in July, August and/or September. The newly re-formed band will also record a new studio album later this year. More on this news as it becomes available...

bassist, Jerry Only, guitarist Doyle Von Frankenstein, vocalist Michale Graves
and drummer Dr. Chud. As of this writing the toys aren't available for viewing on the
Internet but they should be soon. What we want to know is where are the SLAM ALICE dolls?...
...Todd MacFarlane's toy company - which has had such great success with the many KISS action figures - will soon release a figure of the legendary OZZY OSBOURNE. The figure will feature Ozzy, complete with cape, in a classic pose. No word yet as to whether the toy comes with a headless bat accessory...
...DROWN have announced a series of concert dates in support of their "Product of a Two Faced World" on Slipped Disc/Mercury Records. In addition, DROWN will release a limited edition EP, available through their website at http://www.drown.net or at their live shows, which features several versions of their hit, "Kerosene" and guest apperances by members of ORGY, HED (PE), VIDEODRONE and 20 DEAD FLOWER CHILDREN.
