The second batch of Dirk Pitt Poll votes
are in and, although there are no major changes from the last poll, there are a few fresh
faces to be seen below.
DIRK PITT
George Clooney was the choice of most folks last time out, with Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford
and JAG's David James Eliot close behind. The latest batch of votes left Clooney in the
lead with
eight but with Mel close on his tail with seven. A flurry of votes from Sean Bean fans
pushed him to number 3 with four votes. A couple of fresh faces to the Pitt poll included
Antonio
Banderas (?!) with two votes, and TV stars Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek's Commander
Riker) and Baywatch's David Hasselhoff receiving one vote each. Basically, it went like

competitor being the Grandmaster of Adventure himself, Clive Cussler with three votes.

two apiece. We would expect Goldblum to creep up a little in future voting thanks to those

would like to see direct a Dirk Pitt film. Spielberg received a whopping sixteen votes,
followed not-so-
closely by James "Titanic" Cameron and Ron "Apollo 13" Howard with
