"Presented by Mad Mike Jones," "Mototrax 1" is yet another collection of extreme tunes gathered together to honor a particular sport. This time - rather than wrestling (which always seems to be involved with this compilations) - the sport is motocross.
Claiming to contain rare and re-mixed tracks that are unavailable anywhere else, "Mototrax 1" features live tracks by Static-X, Disturbed and Union Underground; remixes by Slipknot, Cold, Mudvayne and Soulfly and new tracks recorded by Pure Rubbish, (hed)pe VS. Bad Azz, Nashville Pussy, Slaves on Dope and Zeke.
Despite the promise of "rare tracks unavailable anywhere else," most of the re-mixes herein sound pretty much like other remixes available elsewhere and the live tracks - while fine for fans - don't really add much to the mix. For my money, the two best songs on the CD are covers: Nashville Pussy's version of "Flirtin' With Disaster" and Slaves on Dope's cover of "War Pigs." Zeke's "Kill The King" is pretty good, too.
Not a bad set by any means but nothing worth searching out either.

So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
