"House of 1000 Corpses" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Geffen)

Imagine a soundtrack for a bad dream taking a turn for the worse: this CD from Rob Zombie's movie, "House of 1,000 Corpses," is just that.
What else would you expect from a Rob Zombie project? "House of 1000 Corpses" features six tracks by Zombie himself (five of which are brand new), plus vintage tracks by the Ramones, Buck Owens, Slim Whitman and others. That's right - Buck Owens and Slim Whitman. And did I mention one of the new Zombie tunes is a Zombie-ized version of the classic Commodores tune, "Brick House," featuring Rob Zombie, Lionel Richie and Trina?
What the hell is going on there? That's easy. It's Rob Zombie once again fucking with your mind. With the bizarre juxtaposition of tunes hereon, plus the insane, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"-like dialogue interspersed between tracks, one can only imagine how twisted the film will be. Frankly, I can't wait!
The soundtrack to "House of a 1000 Corpses" plays like a B-movie on bad acid. It's bizarre, it's eerie, it's twisted.
It's Rob Zombie (and friends).
