THE VAGIANTS

"Short and Hard" (Sin Klub; 2003)

The VaGiants are what rock'n'roll should be: Gritty, raw, in your face, no apologies rock'n'roll. A chick on vocals gives The VaGiants an L7 feel that I find most refreshing.

I knew literally nothing about this band before listening to "Short and Hard" and all I've really learned since then is that I'm a fan. Their garage musical style is infectious and stands out like battle wounds, defining the band in every note they play.

"Short and Hard" is exactly what you're looking for if you like your music hard, heavy and stark.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
