TOWERING FILTH

"Majesties" (Self-produced; 2013)

Reviewed by Jeff Rogers

Towering Filth is a one man band and this guy must have a bunch of demons he lets out to play when he's recording. The music is heavy and brooding, not to mention downright scary when you listen to it at max volume.

This is a black metal/hardcore hybrid of some awesome music after you find out that it's one man conjuring up all this evil. The only problem is that it starts to sound the same after a while. The sound is great and the production is top notch but the groove can get a little worn after the fifth track or so.

Towering Filth is Matthew Koch.
