SPEAK NO EVIL
"Speak No Evil" (Universal; 1999)

Universal Records artists Speak No Evil is a good, solid rock'n'roll band with all members contributing to a strong sound. However, there is a good side and a bad side to the band.
The good aspect is the strong grunge sound reminds me of early Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden and we all know what they did for hard music half a decade back.
The down side is that Speak No Evil overuse that now-tired grunge sound and, ultimately, the CD can sometimes become pretty monotonous.
Once you get passed that, however, Speak No Evil kick ass. I really got into them, especially the way they blended acoustic guitar in the background of some songs that was truly awesome.
Rating Guide:
A classic. This record will kick your ass.
Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.
So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
