SOULMOTOR
"Soulmotor" (CMC International Records; 1999)
Reviewed by Snidermann
Soulmotor is one of those rare "new" bands signed to "veteran" label CMC International Records (one-time home of Motorhead, WASP, and many more). Soulmotor is about the best, most-rounded band I have heard in quite some time. I was impressed right from the get go on the band's professional musicianship and songwriting ability.
The songs of Soulmotor are easy to get lost in and invoke a passion for music that brings chills. I would hazard to guess that - with the right exposure and support - Soulmotor could (and should) be one of the hottest bands around. I will be watching close for Soulmotor to hit the road and I suggest all rock fans check out this show, I know I will.
Soulmotor: Tommy McClendon - guitar; Darin Wood - vocals; Brian Wheat - bass; Mike Vanderhute - drums.

So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
