SNAPCASE
"Designs for Automation" (Victory; 2000)
Reviewed by Snidermann
Snapcase has all the makings of a great rock'n'roll band. The music is strong and the lyrics are well-written. Snapcase is tight and the band's chemistry is apparent from the get-go.
Unfortunately, as hard as I tried, I could not make the connection with what this band is about. Something is missing here and I'm not really sure what it is or how to define it. Maybe the music and the lyrics just don't fit together or maybe the Snapcase sound is just a little off. Maybe I just plain don't get it. Regardless, you can probably tell more by downloading a song or two than from this review. I'm sorry, but there's something about Snapcase that just doesn't click.
