SLITHERYN

"Slitheryn" (Self-released; 2000)

Reviewed by Mike SOS

Slitheryn pride themselves on being the youngest nu-metal band in the world, and - with the median age of these five lads being a mere 13 - there's no argument here.

As for the music this adolescent pack of metallers makes, well, it's better than Hanson, and the monstrous production of these blistering three tracks show signs of potential, but there's still a lot of room for growth. Maybe by sophomore year these kids will be ready for the big time, but for now, there's still room on the Kittie tour for an opener.
