SLAVEMACHINE
"Disfigured Consciousness" (Self-produced; 2003)

When good music hits you, its impact is immediate. When I first heard Slavemachine, I was totally and instantly blown away by the sheer scope and intensive depth of this band. I was listening to the CD and checking out the photos of the musicians on the CD insert and the two just don't jive - these dudes seem just too young to create such excellent music.
Each tune on this ten track CD is totally different from any another, yet each one is a wonderfully crafted metal song that literally leaps from the player and into your ears. This shit rocks from start to finish. The entire presentation is fresh and alive - from the name of the band to the CD art to the production - and it all comes together to form this near perfect CD.
Slavemachine is the real deal: No bullshit, no filler, no hype. Just in-your-face, no compromise metal with loads of attitude above everything else. This band simply rocks.
Slavemachine: Aaron Xavier - bass; Ryan Taylor - vocals; Lee Whitfield - drums; Eric Vandervort - guitars.
