SINCE YESTERDAY

"The Artificial Truth" (Bastardized; 2005)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Since Yesterday's "The Artificial Truth " is a powerhouse of a recording, full of volatile music that sounds even better at a higher volume.  And you have to love a CD that contains a song entitled "(It’s Always Feels Good To Remove) Scabs." Right?

The energy level of the recording is explosive and in-your-face from start to finish. The music is easy to get into, with plenty of great guitar riffs, thundering bass and drums ... just an all around good time. The screaming vocals fit the music perfectly; however, when the singer was not using his high register, the vocals did not sound so great.

Still, all in all a great musical performance. Powerful and intense. A solid three guitarsaws.
