SHIT OUTTA LUCK

"Family Tradition" (Organized Crime; 2007)

Reviewed by Snidermann

The attitude is the best thing about this CD. It's never say die and fuck you if you think differently.

From the very first track, "Family Tradition" provides a musical landscape of broken hearts, booze and more broken hearts. And Shit Outta Luck never apologizes, not once. This CD is just raw rock'n'roll with attitude; it's in-your-face music that never lets up.

As I listened to this CD, I felt like I knew the band personally. Everything they sing about is feelings I can relate to and, as I listened, it felt like as though they were singing about things in my own life.

Shit Out Of Luck is simply a great band and "Family Tradition" is a great CD, with powerful and readily identifiable emotions. The only draw back I found here is that "Family Tradition" only has seven cuts. I wish there were more!
