"Trans Universal Worldwide" (Headchange; 2004)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Sometimes a band comes around that you just cannot figure out. Sometimes it still works and sometimes it doesn't.

With $have's "Trans Universal Worldwide" each tune tells a story in a light, fun way that appealed to me greatly. Even though I did not really get each and every track, the ones I did were very enjoyable. The presentation was fun on a large scale and easy to listen to with a heavy electronic presence that made it all the more likeable.

Rock'n'roll needs bands like $have to remind them that music should be fun and that is just what this band is.

$have: Cornblaster - vocals; Elder D - guitar; Dave Shea - guitar, Fever - bass; Heavy Doodie - drums.
