SAVAGE CIRCUS

"Dreamland Manor" (Century Media; 2006)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Savage Circus is another in the long list of power metal bands. My question is this: Is there room for another?

The answer, judging from "Dreamland Manor," is a resounding yes.

"Dreamland Manor" has a very cool and yet strange musical style that makes their metal seem more like a movie than just music. While listening to this music, I was transported to a place in my head where the movie seemed to play out . And it was a good movie!

The music has real teeth and has the ability to entertain completely. That is rare in today's music scene.

I like the way Savage Circus makes their music fun without selling it out and it sounds like they are having a good time doing it.
