"One Shy of Lucky Thirteen" (AF1 Records; 2000)

Believe me when I tell you RU486 on AF1 Records is one kick ass heavy metal band! Their release, "One Shy Of Lucky Thirteen" is nothing short of superb. Its riveting metal music and excellent social critique make RU486 one of best bands for the new century.

Energy, aggression and top-notch musicianship make up this very talented group of guys. I can't wait to hear more from this extremely tight band. I think the thing that most attracted me to this band was their simple, no bullshit, spit in your face rock'n'roll.

The way it's supposed to be.

RU486 are Bill - guitar; Vin - bass; Pat - drums; and DJ - vox.
