RELATIVE ASH

"Our Time With You" (Island; 2000)

Relative Ash just about explodes out of your CD player from the very minute you put it in. The music and lyrics combine to manufacture a truly memorable musical encounter. The lyrical essence makes up a strong and twisted Americana experience that is truly relevant in today’s society and is also, quite simply, cool.

This band hooked me from the very first track and "Our Time With You" just gets better with every spin. I bet this band really rocks live!

Relative Ash: Marcus Harrison - vocals; Junior Antuenz - guitars; Carols Salazar - guitars; Chuck Ford - Bass; John Salazar - acoustic percussions.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
