RAZORWIRE

"League of the Godless" (Psychophonic Records; 2003)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Razorwire's "League of the Godless" is a loud, explosive collection of some very interesting music. This is in-your-mug, straight to the point rock'n'roll that is very well done, with lots of power to spare. It's volatile music that pushes the envelope from the opening track to the final track and gives us a new look at the talent of the band with each and every cut.

Not for the weak of heart, Razorwire rocks with the best of them and keeps on rocking even though not every song is hard rock. There's some offbeat songs here as well that just embellish the distinction of this very gifted band.

Razorwire adds a new dimension to heavy metal that is fun, easy to get into and very cool as well. If you like you music hard and in your face, Razorwire is worth the listen.

Razorwire: Chris Minney - vocals; Dan Peach - rhythm guitar; Charlie Cooper - drums; Dan Carden - lead guitar - Andy Pancheri -  bass.
