PAGAN'S MIND

"Enigmatic Calling" (LMP; 2005)

Reviewed by Snidermann

"Enigmatic Calling" by Pagan's Mind is a little like watching a movie. The music here is full of powerful images like those that might be created by a killer movie score.

The music is full of powerful keyboards that, combined with driving guitar riffs and excellent songwriting, makes "Enigmatic Calling" truly something to behold. You might call it progressive or stadium rock but I hate those labels so I will just call it good stuff.

"Enigmatic Calling" is larger than life and features first-rate musicianship throughout as well as excellent production and stunning cover art (that may not be important to the music, but I like it anyway).

This band form Norway rocks hard and it was a sincere pleasure to listen to this CD.

Pagan's Mind: Steinar Krokmo; Ronny Tigner; Nils K. Rue; Stian Kristofferson; Jørn Viggo Lofstad.
