NIGHT'S EDGE

"Strike Them Dead" (Independent; 2023)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Being in any kind of a rock band is a daunting prospect to me. Being in a three person outfit is downright terrifying. That being said, my current review project, Baltimore's Night's Edge, and their recording "Stranger" is better than most.

The band is true rock to the core, with a bit of punk and a hell of a lot of attitude. The talent and charisma is apparent right from the beginning and does not end ...well, until the end, of course. The songwriting is awesome and explodes from the speakers with force. It definitely sounds better the louder you play it.

The vocals, however, take a little getting used to and tend to drag on the tempo of the recording a bit. However, that does not take away from the overall coolness and raw capability of this band. I can only imagine what they sound like live.

I read from their bio that they have a new recording coming out in 2025 and I will be there waiting for that to come out.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
