NEW SKELETAL FACES

"Celestial Disease" (Self-released; ; 1999)

Reviewed by Snidermann

I have found me a killer new band. They are called New Skeletal Faces. The name of the recording is "Celestial Disease" and I have to say I was very impressed from the get go. The band has a unique take on metal music that is both infectious and rewarding. Dark and twisted music comes thundering out in each and every track on the recording. The band gets the award for one of the coolest names around, as well!

"Celestial Disease" was originally released in 2019 and a one of the few downsides I found with this band is this recording is only 41 minutes long and the vocals are below the music and totally unrecognizable.  I do want to understand what the vocals are saying but it is impossible. Still, that really does not take away from the overall quality of the band.  New Skeletal Faces has talent and obvious musical ability that I would not mind exploring with future projects.
