NEVER HEARD OF IT

"11 Days" (Unmotivated; 2004)

Reviewed by Mike SOS

If you like bouncy, happy, good time punk rock, then the five lads who comprise Never Heard of It are the kind of band that you and countless 15 year old girls nationwide are going to gush over. Taking the Simple Plan/Good Charlotte route, the lack of balls and bite on "11 Days" is staggering, especially since these guys are all tattooed, pierced and forlorn-looking. This is spongerock at its worst.

Sadly, this band will probably be inescapable on the airwaves and on EMptv, as this is the kind of drivel that passes for punk rock these days, despite the fact that Never Heard of It are only one Ricki Lake makeover away from being just another boy band.

You've been warned.
