MINDFLOWER
"Cydonia" (Mothership Music Co.)
Reviewed by Snidermann
The only thing Mindflower has going for them is a cool record label name. Their music is much too slow and is melodic to a fault. It reminds me of the 1991 Temple of the Dog CD, only at least that recording had some type of class. Mindflower's "Cydonia" is boring tripe. Maybe if this band got a little backbone and gave the drummer and bass player some caffeine, this shit might be a little easier to digest. Then again, maybe not.
Rating Guide:
A classic. This record will kick your ass.
Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.
So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
