MERCIFUL ZERO

"Merciful Zero" (Self-released; 2023)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Good music is hard to come by and with the advent of the internet and modern recording technology, anyone can release anything.  A lot of the time, it's total crap. However, when it's good, it's truly a thing of beauty. I get most, if not all, of my new music from Instagram (the only social medial I can stomach). Sometimes, it's not what I'm looking for but, at other times, it's truly golden.

I found Merciful Zero and their self-titled recording and it was like finding a diamond ring on the sidewalk. I didn't know anything about this band, but when I listened to the music, I knew right away this shit is for real.

Everything about his band is top notch: the songwriting, the musical expression, the production value and the total charisma of all four members. The overall package is something truly special.

Merciful Zero's self-titled album is a solid rock'n'roll presentation that is well worth the time and effort.  I wholly recommend this recording and I can only imagine what they are like live.
