MASTERLAST

"Think of the Day" (Self-produced; 2004)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Masterlast is a new metal outfit that has plenty to show us about how metal is played and presented.

This EP, "Think Of The Day," is a powerhouse of killer metal tunes and equally impressive lyrics. The thing I found most notable is the band's overall integration of metal and techno combined with heartfelt vocals that make Masterlast one of the freshest bands around today.

Man, I love great female metal singers and Lizza Hayson is right up there with the best. As solid a metal performance as I have heard in awhile, Masterlast rates high in originality, power and context. "Think of the Day" is a great CD! I was blown away and you will be, too.
