MASQUERADE

"Flux" (Metal Blade)

Reviewed by Snidermann

In my opinion, Masquerade is exactly what rock'n'roll should be. Music that rocks, words that are easy to understand and to sympathize with and pure,  rock hard soul. What else is there?

Masquerade's "Flux" is all that and more. Music that transcends the way we look at life and makes you part of another reality. It's like 80s hard rock mixed in with 90s alternative - and it works. This shit rocks. Sometimes the background vocals are a bit too wimpy, but, overall, the package is remarkable.

Masquerade: Tony Johnansson - vocals; Thomas G:Son - guitar; Mark Gronholm - drums; Henrik Lundberg - bass.
