LOVESICK SAINTS

"Die De Los Muertos" (Self-produced; 2013)

Reviewed by Jeff Rogers

This is the newest EP from Lovesick Saints entitled "Dia De Los Muertos" which means "Day of the Dead." These guys have a hardcore punk sound and they also have a rock vibe that is present throughout this six song offering. Lovesick Saints would be a great bar band to see on a night of causal drinking. You can sing along and dance to it. The title track closes out this EP with a nice touch.

The guitar on the track "Sick and Broken" has a great sound. These guys can find a groove and keep you along for the ride. The vocals are easy on the ears and, with six songs to enjoy over and over again, I think you'll find Lovesick Saints a great addition to your ever-growing music library. This trio of dudes from Scottsdale, AZ can rock. This is their fourth EP -- the first three are: "The Punk Rock Honky Tonk," "Resurwreckshun," and "Outside Looking In."

Lovesick Saints: Tom Holliday: guitar/vocals, Jarrod Olson: bass, Christian Howell: drums.
