KINDRED SAINT

"Kindred Saint" (Self-released; 2010)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Kindred Saint's self-titled CD is a refreshing dose of classic rock'n'roll that falls somewhere between Steppenwolf and Foreigner. The songs have great bass and drums that just thunder through your speakers. It's classic rock in the FM sense; you can imagine any of these songs on FM classic rock radio.

You have to admire the band for unapologetically creating this music without turning it into something falsely modern. Instead, it's what it is: classic rock'n'roll, and that's why it works so well.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
