INJECTED

"Burn It Black" (Island Records)

Reviewed by Keith Guillotine

First of all, I think Injected should have named this album "Bullet" because that's THE best song on the CD.  It's a hard driving/heavy metal sound that rocks. "Sherman" would be my second choice.  It too rocks hard and talks about what it's like to make it in the rock'n'roll industry. "Sherman" also has a Buckcherry sound and, as Buckcherry is one of my favorite bands, that's a good thing!

Third choice for album title would have been "Lights are Low."  This song, accompanied by a well-shot video, could definitely be a hit.

Overall, a great album. Personal note to Jade, Steve, Chris and D.: Make sure you keep that hidden track on the CD - It makes for a great ending!

Injected is: Chris Wojtal - Drums; D. Grady - Vocals, Guitar; Jade Lemons - Guitar; Steve Slovisky - Bass.
