INFESTATIO

"Unleash the End" (Infestatio; 2020)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Infestatio's "Unleash the End" is a solid collection of thrash tunes, with chunky, powerhouse riffs, fiery leads and vocals that range from the low growl to the screeching demon. It's instantly addictive from the very first track, and maintains that level of engagement throughout the eight tracks hereon, many of which are over six minutes in length (and one of which, "Storm Nights," clocks in at over eight!).

The music on "Unleash the End" travels along at various paces, often within the same track, running from the bulldozer crawl to the bullet train fury. It's pretty awesome stuff from these Brazilian rockers, and fans of bands like Pantera, Megadeth and the like will find plenty to their liking here.

Infestatio: Rafael Neves - Guitars/Vocals; Caio Picollotto - Drums.
