IDOLS NEVER DIE

"Election Day Fire" (215 Records; 2005)

Good solid rock'n'roll is never to be ignored and "Election Day Fire" by Idols Never Die is a perfect example of a killer rock'n'roll CD.

Sometimes the music here seems to drag on and certain lyrics are often repeated over and over again and all that does get a bit trying. However, thankfully, it doesn't take away from this very well performed and produced CD.

The storytelling ability on "Election Day Fire" is far and away better than most anything else out there today although sometimes the band's basic sound doesn't really offer anything new and borders on spongerock.

Overall, I really liked "Election Day Fire" and I look forward to more from Idols Never Die.
