HELLTENCED
"Back Stab Effect" (Five Star Agency & Co; 2024)
Reviewed by Snidermann
In my opinion, a metal band needs a few things: a shitload of attitude, aggressive music, barely distinguishable vocals. It must sound really good, very loud and a good name band name helps (which is not required it just so happens the band helltenced (this band’s first letter is a lower case), has all the above attributes. Also this band is fronted by a female singer and I have a soft spot for a solid singer of the female persuasion.
Quality metal from start to finish. The name of the recording is Back Stab Effect and the cover art is creepy and very cool. Twelve songs, 1 hour of pure metal enjoyment. I did have to listen to the recording twice before I got what they were saying and I am glad I did because, as of the third time through, it just keeps getting better.
I can only say this band would be dynamite as a live performance. Helltenced and their "Back Stab Effect" are well worth the time and, if you do not get it, just be cool and listen again and, if you are like me, you’ll get it the second time out.

So-so. You've heard better.
Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.
Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
