HARMFUL
"Sanguine" (Steamhammer; 2003)
Reviewed by Snidermann
Upon first listen, Harmful's "Sanguine" was entertaining, if not enthralling. Fairly solid heavy metal with few, if any, surprises.
Subsequent spins, however, and the CD simply fizzled. Perhaps it was the lack of originality or perhaps the band just didn't speak to me. Regardless, "Sanguine" too quickly began sounding forced and uninspired.
Harmful has potential but "Sanguine" doesn't deliver it to its fullest.
Harmful: Aren Emirze - vocals/guitar; Chris Aidonopoulos – bass; Nico Heimann - drums.
