GLASSJAW

"Everything You Wanted to Know About Silence" (Roadrunner)

Anyone listening to Glassjaw better have anything but a glass jaw. This music is extremely loud and in-your-face right from the get go and it never lets up or even allows you to draw breath until the very last note.

The name of this CD is "Everything You Wanted To Know About Silence." However, nothing - and I mean nothing - is silent about this recording. Blaring guitars, a singer who screams as well as he sings along with thundering bass and drums earns Glassjaw very high marks in my book. I look forward to more from this awesome band.

Glassjaw is: Daryl Patumbo - vocals; Beck - guitars; Manuel Ragoonan Carrero - bass; Sammy Siegler - drums; Todd N. Weinstock - guitars.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
