G.L.A.S.

"18" (Self-produced; 2005)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Although there are moments on this six track CD that shine, there aren't nearly enough of them. "18" is run of the mill AOR with vapid melodies, weak vocals and mostly dull songwriting that will more likely lull you to sleep than grab your attention.

When the guitar solos come in, the CD reaches its zenith. The solos are crisp, quick and truly stand out. Like all guitar solos, however, the solos here don't last very long and, too soon, you find yourself back in the same old swing of things ... and it's not very exciting.

G.L.A.S.: Alex "Midnight"Moschini - lead/backing vocals, bass and keyboards; Massimo Cappelli - lead/backing vocals and guitars; Alessio Viani - lead guitars; Sergio Leonetti - drums.
