GET SCARED

"Built for Blame, Laced with Shame" (Gray Area Records; 2012)

Reviewed by Jeff Rogers

This is the fourth EP, entitled "Built for Blame, Laced With Shame" from American rock band, Get Scared. They have one full length release, "Best Kind of Mess," that came out in 2011.

The guitar on this disc will grind away at your brain while the vocals scream right into your face. Since this release is an EP, it's easy to listen to it over and over again and, trust me, you'll want to. The songs are heavy enough to keep your interest and the female tough vocals remind me of Flyleaf.

Download the whole EP for a great blast of alternative and post-hardcore rock.

Get Scared: Joel Faviere - lead vocals, composer, Johnny B – guitars, Bradley Lloyd – guitars, Dan Edwards - drums, percussion.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
