FORDIRELIFESAKE

"Dance Pretend Forget Defend" (Thorpe; 2004)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Fordirelifesake's "Dance Pretend Forget Defend" has two very distinctive and opposite sides. The music is hard and very effective at showing a varied range of emotion. The harsh vocal style is another thing altogether. It's hard on the ears and even harder to understand what is being said.

What Fordirelifesake's needs is to find a happy medium. The band has a solid musical presentation and a great name, but the one dimensional vocal style brings everything down a notch.
