FLUWID

"From Surface to Suffocation" (Mortal Music; 2010)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Heavy metal music has a new ambassador and their name is Fluwid.

Sound it out: "Floo-id." This CD is fluid. It's hard-driving, heart-pounding, ear-splitting music. The songs are instantly enjoyable and full of deep, catchy hooks. The band uses a wide range of musical expression with an equally wide vocal range that makes their music irresistible.

The intensity of this band is remarkable. Not only is the music top notch, but the storytelling ability is well above average. Quality metal with a great overall presentation makes Fluwid's "From Surface to Suffocation" a CD worth listening to.
