FIVE POINT O

"Untitled" (Roadrunner)

Reviewed by Snidermann

As much as I wanted to like Five Point O, I could never quite get the feel of what the group wanted to say. They've got all the ingredients of a great band: youth, energy, talent, aggression and a record company recognized for their marketing ability. Still, nothing really stood out on this recording. It was neither too heavy nor too light, neither too fast or too slow, or too emotional or not emotional enough.

Maybe others will connect with Five Point O. Try as I might, I could never identify with or get into this band. Still, I hope Five Point O finds their niche. One can tell they're giving it a hell of a try.
