FAITHFULL

"Horizons" (Perris Records; 2008)

Long live 80s metal! Bands like Bon Jovi and Skid Row sound as good now as they did then. Now, in 2008, there is another band that is keeping with that tradition: the aptly named Faithfull.

Music that sounds great with foot-stomping hooks, plenty of chord action and power ballads combined with high energy vocals make Faithfull a force and sound to be enjoyed over and over again.

There will always be a place in my heart for 80s rock and listening to Faithfull just drives that fact home. Now I think I will break out all my old 80s rock and give them another listen.

Faithfull proves that good rock that was prevalent in the 80s is alive and well in 2008.
