Metal Blade Records has found yet another winner with 40 Grit. These guys are so comfortable playing the music they want to play and that chemistry shines throughout.
The music is fierce and fast, the vocals hard hitting and gritty. Singer James Santiago has a vocal range that is almost unheard in the current metal scene.
In addition, according to the CD cover, 40 Grit is officially sponsored by http://www.churchofbeer.net. You've gotta love that!
This band is definitely worth a listen to, I know I’ll be spinning them for quite a while!
Even the CD's artwork is cool.
