"Judgement Day" (Gearhead Records)

"Judgement Day," by Dragonsclaw, is a portrait of rugged metal that never lets up until the recording comes to an end. As mentioned in the previous sentence, the name of the recording is Judgment Day and I feel like I have been through just that after listening to this CD.
Usually we get material to review from the record companies, but this time the band asked for people to review their music on Facebook and of course I put my hand right up. Right off the bat, I knew I was in the presence of something really fucking cool. Dragonsclaw has utilized all the information and musical styles of bands long gone to make a totally unique and totally bitchin’ recording. "Judgement Day" is simply one of the best albums I have heard in quite some time and I'm glad I discovered this band.
