DOWNTHESUN
"downthesun" (Roadrunner Records)

Our friends at Roadrunner Records have done it again with downthesun. From the very first moments of the opening track, this band delivers a powderkeg of explosive, highly energized metal mania. Roadrunner Records and downthesun makes a perfect fit.
Every aspect of this band is well thought-out; from the writing, to the musicianship and all the way through the final production. To say this CD is heavy is like saying Anna Nicole Smith needs to go on a diet - it is a simple fact.
Jam packed with aggression, screaming vocals and a shitload of talent, downthesun is for real. Dark and mysterious, the band is on its own path to greatness. I'm just glad I discovered them here at the beginning! This music is so far left of musical center - the electronics involved, the two vocalists, a total of six members with an obvious passion for music that drags you into the action. Not since Mushroomhead have I heard such raw, pure, original power.
downthesun: The band is Kuk - bass; Church - electronics; Staone - vocals; Bruce Swink - guitar; Aaron - vocals; Danny Spain - drums.
