"Dead Groove" (Self-produced; 2023)

Reviewed by Snidermann

I just really dig a three person band and Dead Groove is one of those. Actually, this band checks two boxes for me: a three person group and a female singer.

The rawness is part of the appeal. Just think about three member bands of years past: Motorhead, Rush, Cream and Triumph, just to name a few. Well, now you can add Dead Groove to that list. Their self-titled debut delivers hard-hitting metal/rock music with a sound that can only be achieved with three members.

Hard and raw are the basic aspects of the recording, along with great writing and killer musicianship. The music moves with quality guitar riffs, driving bass and thundering drums, making Dead Groove a band that must be experienced.
