DAYS OF THE NEW

"Days of the New III" (Outpost; 2001)

Reviewed by Snidermann

Days Of The New are good, lighter rock music that is easy to listen to and has a boat load of soul to boot. The songs' story-telling is outstanding and easily identifiable.

This isn't heavy metal - it'd be difficult to even qualify it as hard rock - but the musical experience is enjoyable nonetheless. This trio really puts their all into this recording and it shows.

If you're in the mood for some excellent mellow/light rock, Days Of The New are right up your alley.

Days of the New: Travis Meeks - voice and guitar; Mike Huettig - bass; Ray Rizzo - drums.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
