CONDEMNED

"And That's How I Found Them" (Self-Produced; 2005)

Reviewed by Christopher J. Kelter

Hailing from Northern Ireland, Condemned is a death metal band that focuses on gore and outrageous situations for its inspiration. Indeed, Condemned are self-described as "traumatizing gore metal." “And That’s How I Found Them” is a four-track demo that is well-produced – better for appreciating the band’s sound. It might be more appropriate to define the band’s style as gore-grind with enough groove and a bit of a slower overall pace that allows for more memorable songs.

Fans of Gorerotted will appreciate Condemned’s approach to death metal.

“And That's How I Found Them” was produced by Condemned. For a self-produced demo “And That’s How I Found Them” sounds great.

Condemned is Peter Clarke on vocals, Steve Moore on guitar and backing vocals, Michael Ardill on bass, and Willy Taylor on drums.
