CHROME MOLLIE

"Chrome Mollie" (All Hard Rock; 2013)

Reviewed by R. Scott Bolton

Solid hard rock that makes no bones about being something more. There's only four tracks here (hence, the two-and-a-half-star review; a full-length would have gotten more), but they all rock hard old school-style, like Great White or Y&T. Even the acoustic number (which isn't), "Dreams," kicks some ballad ass, Poison style.

Worth a look if you're into straight forward hard rock.

Chrome Mollie: Tim Smith - Vocals; Danny Justice - Guitars; Dave Stroud - Bass; Eddie Golatka - Drums.

Rating Guide:

A classic. This record will kick your ass.

Killer. Not a classic but it will rock your world.

So-so. You've heard better.

Pretty bad. Might make a nice coaster.

Self explanatory. Just the sight of the cover makes you wanna hurl.
